Battery Energy Storage Solution (BESS)

- SSTPL offers cost-effective and highly efficient energy storage solutions some of which are ideal replacements of residential petrol/diesel generator sets, inverters and UPS markets.

- SSTPL also offers solutions which are suitable for wind and solar energy applications on-grid and off-grid system, solar rooftop application and micro-grid which are customized as well as available off-the shelf.

Role Summary: 

Candidate would be expected to work independently with guidance from management team to build and scale sales vertical of Battery Energy Storage Solutions. Some of the key responsibilities include but not limited to,

- Devise and execute marketing and sales strategies to achieve assigned sales targets

- Leverage existing dealer contacts to set-up dealer network across India

Business Expansion:

- Building pipeline of potential partnerships/dealers/distributors

- Engagement with potential partners/dealers/distributors to drive closure

Customer Management:

- Engagement with existing customers to maintain relationships

- Regular reviews with customers for performance assessment, business expansion, identifying challenges

- Address basic technical questions/ queries raised by clients (product training will be provided to candidate)

- Regular performance reporting including dashboards to monitor major performance indicators including sales and channel development targets

Desired Skills & Experience

- Experience of atleast 10 years in channel and sales development through dealer network

- MBA in Sales and Marketing preferred

- Preference to candidates with prior experience in setting up dealer network for residential petrol/diesel genetator sets.

- Strong sales orientation and target driven

- Confident communication and presentation skills

- Resourceful self-starter who thrives in a fast-pace, and start-up environment; ability to work on own initiative as well as in a team

- Strong sense of ownership and proactive problem resolution

- Flair to sell, meet new people, readiness to travel across the country as and when required

Details of Engagement

Preference of base location in existing office locations (Ahmedabad, Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad) but exceptions can be made for candidates that are suitable for the role. There would be expectation of travel as per business necessity.
