Head - Coworking Business - Real Estate Firm (5-15 yrs)

Job description

A leading interior contracting firm in India is currently looking to venture into the co-working business and is keen to make a senior level hire to head the business. The firm intends to setup a chain of co-working spaces on a pan India basis.

Candidates who are currently working as Tier 1 management with leading coworking space providers or consultants who have an indepth understanding of the business model are requested to apply.

Job requirements:

Ability to help the firm in setting up the coworking business from scratch

Will be responsible for the overall P/L of the coworking business (across centers)

Needs to provide inputs to the top management on the preferred business model (mix of coworkers to focus on (startups, freelancers, small corporates, etc.), density per seat, no. of meeting/conference rooms required, charges per seat, ideal rent/revenue ratio, capex required, location strategy, leasing strategy, target occupancy and profitability, etc.)

Knowledge of design firms, interior designers & contractors to be employed for various centers

Working knowledge of vendors from whom furniture and fixtures are sourced; Need to also expand the vendor base over a period of time

Putting in place an inhouse team to manage the coworking centers

Oversee coordination with design consultants and contractors to ensure that the centers are ready for operations within the desired timeframe

Have strong networks within the startup world (startups, angels, VCs, accelerators, etc.)

Ability to get relevant events and mentoring sessions organized at the centers once operational

Spearhead marketing efforts to ensure the coworking centers run at optimal occupancy

Knowledge of key forums/events where representation is needed

Ideal candidate should have direct experience of working in a coworking space provider for atleast 2 year with overall experience of 5+ years.
