Role :

1. End to end responsibility for new category/product development and new category/product launches

2. Categories would include mix of new brand work, new category work and existing brands new category work

3. Responsibilities would include category mapping, concept work, working in & leading Customer focus teams for new product development

4. Responsibilities would also include driving strategy, planning, top line, budget management & bottom line for above. Driving market research, consumer insights and business analytics to Lead the Market Research function

5. Work with brand teams to design & implement researches

6. Lead on improving business & brand analytics

7. To establish the optimum product mix for each store type

8. To ensure that financial plans are developed in line with market trends, balancing risks and opportunities and to develop contingency plans to achieve net margin plan for the Category and maximize profitability while controlling overall supply at the budgeted norms

9. Sourcing and development of brands with the product strategy, to offer a balance of choice, value, quality, and desirability, to the consumer.

10. To manage Category budgeted expenditure within agreed levels.
