As a category manager, you will be responsible for end to end merchandising of multiple sub categories within the Lifestyle portfolio. The role is multi-functional and involves working with Business Development, Marketing, Design, Catalog, Content and Technology teams. The role's key essence is to showcase the right products at the portal that help meet business objectives and ensure a seamless experience for customer purchase by ensuring right filters, proper catalog etc. This would also entail conceptualizing &amp; implementing critical strategic campaigns in order to drive the topline &amp; bottom-line of Lifestyle portfolio. What will you be responsible for : - Create promotion calendar and plan promotions according to festivals, seasons, events - Provides timely information on consumer insights and sale rates to sourcing team, to enable them source better - Own Visual Merchandising and take responsibility of storefront to optimize conversions - Lead strategic horizontal campaigns with marketing at marketplace level and drive key business objectives through same - Drive pricing objectives across key category to ensure best customer offering and drive bottom line of category - Work with Design &amp; Content team to create banners with attractive merchandise and appropriate copy for Website and Digital Ads - Owning and understanding merchandising of category at individual channel level and optimizing channel mix. - Contributes in development of range architecture based on consumer segment insights, regional requirements, marketplace knowledge, and competitive data (both online and offline retail) - Create process and algorithm designing for effective merchandising to meet category objectives - Ensures that the product placed on site is relevant to the category, features and USP well explained to the viewer in simple customer centric language, product is well packaged to attract and excite customers - Work with Technology or contract vendor platforms to obtain new tools for effective merchandising and customer engagement. - Own Visual Merchandising and ensure category's conversion - Drive campaigns at category and marketplace level along with marketing team to ensure delivery of business objectives - Own and control pricing for the category and keep a grip on all the key business metrics - Deliver top customer centric metrics like improved conversions, CTR, reducing bounce rate, etc. to achieve overall category plan. - Chalk out marketing plans and allocation of merchandising properties for brands in focus. - Work with Catalog team to create style filters and style guide, size guide etc Overall, the candidate is required to have a keen Category knowledge and fine understanding of Online Consumer.
