Job Purpose:

- As Head of Reporting you will own the group multi-currency, multi-GAAP consolidation and monthly close process, global statutory reporting, and all financial statements and audits. This role will work closely with the Heads of Financial Control, Tax & Treasury, and FP&A teams, other business stakeholders, and the group auditors.

- You will be an exceptionally driven, organised individual, with very strong IFRS accounting skills and understanding of best practice consolidation processes. You'll be adept at managing complex big 4 audits, capable of translating complex issues into simple language, and able to work in the detail as well as managing a well engaged team.

Key Accountabilities:

- Supervise monthly reporting close process and preparation of consolidated reporting package in line with published deadlines

- Closely control all consolidation entries within the finance system, with balance sheet reconciliations prepared monthly.

- Complete all statutory audits and filing of entity accounts in line with statutory deadlines.

- Manage relationship with Group and local audit firms and other advisors.

- Monitor and report compliance with lending covenants and information requirements across the group.

- Own group IFRS and local GAAP compliance, supporting the global revenue and cost controllers on issues and policy changes, monitoring changes in accounting and financial reporting rules, and producing technical position papers.

- Support the FP&A, Finance Business Partner and Sales teams in understanding consolidation reports, IFRS and other technical aspects of accounting as required.

- Continuously improve the efficiency and control of all consolidation, audit and reporting processes to achieve best in class quality.

Experience Required:

- Leading a high performing geographically spread financial reporting team in a business of similar size and complexity.

- Technical accounting skills, including research of issues and writing high quality position papers.

- Managing multiple complex audits and timetables.

- Preparing consolidated and financial statements

- Managing month end timetable

- Enhancing efficiency, speed and quality of all deliverables.

- Delivering on challenging deadlines and objectives.

- Leading change
