SHL - Associate Director - Finance Business Partner

Role Overview:

- SHL is looking to find a Finance Business Partner to join our India commercial leadership team. You will be the Finance Partner to one of our key growth regions helping our Regional MD manage $15M+ of revenues and associated costs.

- This is a role new to SHL and will require high interpersonal skills to negotiate through the set-up of this role, the relationships with central, regional and country leadership as well as central finance and Sales Operations. This is a critical role as we move to scale and grow our India business.

- The role will interface with the Executive leadership all the way to in territory individual sales contributors with a large number of other cross functional interactions so the ability to foster strong and trusted working relationships is paramount.

Primary Accountabilities:

- Observe, support and constructively challenge regular sales pipeline reviews

- Support the Sales Operations team in constructing regular sales forecasts

- Lead the conversion of those sales forecasts into revenue forecasts including both revenue recognition as well as cash flow forecasting

- Work with Central and local teams to produce budgets and re-forecasts across the short, medium and long term where the role is the driver and owner of the in region forecast (in close collaboration with regional Leaders)

- Help coach local teams and individuals around pricing ensuring application of SHL policies and delegated authority, as well as helping to liaise with central Pricing team.

- Help the India Commercial Leadership teams review their resource deployment and development plans

- Help analyze and monitor Sales and Professional Services productivity proposing efficiency and staffing improvements

- Assist the MD with performance analysis

- On an Ad-hoc basis provide sales teams support with clients- financial issues

- Some local compliance support

- Support other finance functional teams (e.g. OTC, pricing) with customer escalations and/or issue resolutions.

Experience:

- Extensive experience working with FP&A or other Finance team within an international business.

- SaaS based business (desirable)

Qualifications and skills:

- A qualified Chartered Accountant with relevant 15 years experience.

- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint

- Strong Analytical skills
