General Manager - Finance & Accounts

This is a leadership role in financial planning & execution to improve & maintain the financial health of the organization.

1. Lead initiatives to improve profitability, provide leadership within the finance function to support the businesses in identifying and solving business issues, with emphasis on growth in sales, profit and cash flows.

2. Responsible for overall finance & accounting function of the company as per the Indian Accounting Practices.

3. Oversee organization-wide budgets, financial controls, records and business functions, and operational audits.

4. Responsible for sales accounting viz expense to sales analysis, Scheme analysis and distributors management.

5. Regularly interact with other departments, share information regarding budgeted and actual costs, so that costs can be effectively controlled and managed. Devise and implement innovative strategies to minimize costs.

6. Lead the internal functional teams, including audit, legal, and tax.

7. Establish and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with federal, state and local tax and regulatory agencies

8. Manage the task of annual accounts preparation. Oversee statutory compliance, filing yearly tax returns, registrations, and licenses

9. Ensure execution of Internal & External Audit processes and compliances.

10. As a de-facto CFO, advise senior leadership on financial aspects
