Project Manager Job Description:

Educational Qualifications:

- Should have a Bachelors/Master's Degree possibly some Management degree in social or rural sector

Professional Experience:

- Should be well-versed with Hindi language

- Should have competency to manage team of 100 people

- Preferred: Exposure and inclination to developmental work

- Preferred: Prior experience in NGOs working in rural area

Personality Traits:

- Strong ability to network, connect and take feedback from stakeholders of the project

- Ability to lead a team of 100~200 people and move the team with motivation

- Empathy for an initiative that is clearly philanthropic in nature with a commitment to public good

- Strong ability to understand any feedback and incorporate to evolve/improve the content

- Self Starter/motivated. Does not require constant monitoring

Responsibilities:

- To develop and manage an education initiative at various levels (Village, Block, District and state) under the aegis of Shiv Nadar Foundation

- To manage the team who are maintaining the content for the project (all subjects for Class 1-2) in Hindi medium schools for UP, with feedback from Students & teaching community

- Deploy content in rural and semi-urban Hindi schools in India

- Conduct sessions with teachers and students (if required)

- Visit schools on regular basis

- Keep content development alive by refreshing and updating it based on feedback and requirement

- Monitoring the schools

- Administrative management

- Address technology issues and coordinate solutions

- Relationship with District Magistrate /Basic Shiksha Adhikari (BSA) /Asst. BSA

- Develop adult education process and roll out in the govt. structure

- Community Mobilization

- Foresee Augmentation process and development
