Sr Manager/ Associate Director- Labour Compliance

This role is responsible to maintain and manage harmonious industrial / employee relations to ensure that there is no business impact on account of strained employee relationships.

1. To devise National IR strategy in line with organizational IR strategy and execute the same in collaboration with regional business HR teams.

2. To align with the manpower strategy of the business and work closely with HRBPs in executing the same.

3. To capture employee pulse at each facility and provide structured feedback to the leadership team on a periodic basis.

4. To develop mechanisms in understanding the people challenges impacting business operations and proactively develop action plans to mitigate risks associated with it.

5. To front end employee / industrial relations issues in the region and ensure that there is no business impact out of strained relationships.

6. To advise and support locations HR and Operations SPOCs to deal with ER issues.

7. To ensure that every facility and vendor partner is fully compliant as per the provisions of various statues / labour laws.

8. To liaison with external stakeholders such as local influences, politicians, and government authorities.

COMPETENCIES:

1. Good knowledge of labour laws and statutory compliance

2. Good Communication, Interpersonal, Collaboration and negotiation skills

3. Ability to work with cross-functional, inter-departmental teams.

4. Ability to collaborate and lead the teams in crisis situations.
