Purpose  As part of Learning Operations, the Learning Design & Development (D&D) team works with global suppliers to deliver over 350 Blended and eLearning projects per year for all businesses/functions across Shell and to identify and implement Learning related innovations. The D&D team is the architects of translating needs identified by Learning Portfolios into fit-for-purpose learning solution, and they own the relationships with the suppliers in this space. As a result of the significant increase in the number of projects and the higher level of complexity in managing multiple stakeholders, global suppliers, the D&D team needs to focus on the activities of partnering with stakeholders, supplier, project, and budget management.  Requirements :  Accountabilities:  - Develop and maintain strong business focused relationships with stakeholders  - Demonstrate strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.  - Collaborate with, and often challenge, others to ensure the full spectrum of learning options are applied, seeking opportunities for more informal/non-programmatic learning solutions (on the job, blended, coaching/mentoring, classroom, networks, KM)  - Influencing shift from - building-, to - buying- and - borrowing- learning solutions  - Liaise with Learning Managers/Advisors and vendors within assigned Learning portfolio(s) with emphasis on ensuring delivery of quality, innovative, fit-for-purpose solutions on time/budget  - Provide accurate budget and status reports to all stakeholders  - Engagement with external vendors  - Support the implementation of the 70:20:10 framework across portfolios and other initiatives in alignment with Learning Strategy.  - Take accountability for challenges with our internal customers being the first point of escalation  - Actively participate in a variety of meetings including Learning Managers and Learning VPs.  Special challenges:   - Shifting role from specialized learning designers to experienced learning professionals.  - Stakeholder recognition of D&D team - value-add- as a trusted advisor and business partner  - A managing conflict that may come from balancing the needs of the businesses/functions with Shell's learning strategy.  - Prioritising learning development in consultation with Learning Managers and Learning Advisors.  - Increasing internal stakeholder satisfaction.  - Accurate budget management and reporting.  - Improving D&D efficiency through continuous improvement of processes.
