Service Manager (with Technical Sales Experience)
- Manage a team of sales representatives that sell technical services, products, and systems.
- Set sales plans and forecasts to identify and produce a steady pipeline of prospects.
- Ensure that the team delivers compelling technical presentations that drive sales.
- Utilize deep technical acumen to educate the team on products, competitors, and prospects.
- Manage Contract negotiations.
- Nurture relationships with key customers.
- Partner with internal technical & marketing teams to utilize customer insights and market intelligence to contribute to the product roadmap.
- Manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs.
- Ensure that department milestones/goals are met and adhere to the approved budgets.- A bachelor's degree in a related technical or scientific discipline or equivalent.
- Should have 5 years of experience in the related area as an individual contributor with 1-3 years of supervisory experience.
- Extensive knowledge of the function and department processes.
