Sharekhan - Head - IT Data Management & Governance

DATA Management Role :

- Appropriate Data Governance practices are in place.

- A data management strategy for the Sharekhan is in place

- Make sure Sharekhan is compliant to all the prevailing laws for Data Handling of Data Subjects

- Make sure all the software initiatives at Sharekhan incorporate Security by Design

- Review all the architectures to make sure best practices are followed for handling data at all the stages of software development and in the software product

- Develop and maintain overall framework of Data Governance policies, standards and strategies that will keep Sharekhan on right side of the law

- Handle all the ad-hoc Data requests to be compliant with security and compliance

- Work with legal and compliance to update Sharekhan Privacy Policy and Data Handling policy time to time

- Perform Data Privacy Impact Assessment while onboarding and during the engagement with the vendors to mitigate all the risks

- Support and deploy new technology / projects in line with the changing business needs, and regulatory compliance

- Participate in Incident & Problem Management

- Managing the Data Life Cycle, from capture to archive

Governance :

- Steer the development and ongoing maintenance of other IT policies and procedures

- Ensure that all IT policies and procedures are compliant with regulatory requirements,

- Maintain a schedule of policy review and submission to the board for approval,

- Drive and control the deployment and application of IT governance in his unit.

- Lead the design of Sharekhan IT processes, Maintain the reference documentation of the Sharekhan IT processes,

- Maintains the reference documentation of the IT department organization.
