Shalina Laboratories is a fully owned subsidiary of Shalina Healthcare in India. We have a captive manufacturing location at Jejuri MIDC in Pune district.

Position Details:

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

- To direct and control the manufacturing processes to meet agreed production targets within planned levels of cost and product quality.

- Spearheading the plant engineering requirement and identifying the key areas for efficiency / improvement in productivity, automation etc.

- Prepare and gain agreement for, and implement capital expenditure plans within acceptable cost limits.

- Ensure that the appropriate GMP practices are implemented throughout the factory to ensure that it routinely passes all local and international regulatory audits with respect to Quality, Safety, Health and Environment Protection.

- Develop and maintain effective internal working relationships with all employees teams (both Company employed and Contract Casual Labour) in order to promote good industrial relations.

- Build and maintain effective working relationships with all local civilian bodies, and various regulatory authorities in order to ensure high levels of local PR and minimal interference in our operations.

- Ensure that all levels of staff are recruited, developed and motivated to maintain and improve departmental and overall productivity performance.

- Manage employees and hands-on operation of the plant manufacturing function.

- Develop and manage budgeting and budget execution of factory expenses both opex & capex.

- Direct all production control, production process development, quality systems with Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing principles.

- Planning, directing, and coordinating the manufacturing of products in compliance with company goals and objectives.

- Should have thorough technical knowledge of products under manufacturing and to be manufactured in pipeline with working knowledge of Inventory Management.

- Drive continuous improvements to deliver operational efficiencies and enhanced compliance standards.

- Planning & implementing the preventive & predictive maintenance schedules for improving the overall reliability and safety of plant Equipments.

- Ensuring compliance of various quality measures such as cGLP/cGMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) by
maintenance of appropriate requisite documentation/ records.

- Using process, quality and production improvement methodologies, planning, implementation and maintenance of manufacturing methods for new or existing products and technologies.

Qualification Required: B.Pharm/M.Pharm

Experience: At least 12 - 15 years manufacturing experience in a Pharma manufacturing environment.
