Shaadi.com - Associate Product Manager

Profile :

- At Shaadi.com, Associate Product Manager is the Product Owner and is responsible for ensuring quality and agility of deployments, ideation, and specification documents and velocity of his/her pod.

- S/he is also expected to participate in strategic product planning, defining, delivering, and continuously innovating Internet-based consumer products and services, as this is the logical next step for him/her in Product Management. S/he should strive to create world-class products that are marketable and be instrumental in getting the same implemented.

What you would be doing :

- You will be the Product Owner, responsible for the deployment quality and velocity of your pod.

- You will strive to be data-informed and capable of extracting a point of view from data.

- You should be well acquainted with split-testing (A/B testing)

- You should be familiar with Agile PDM and will be responsible for the sprint in your pod.

- You will work closely with the User Experience team, to help shape your ideas into a simple, integrated and intuitive UI - both on Mobile and Web

- You will go deep to solve problems and balance your - action-bias- with - end-states-

- You will design for Personas, strategic segments, and psychographics

- You will keep things simple while solving problems that are complex

- You will work with CX teams to drive - measurable impact- and not - managed impact-

What we need:

- 1-3 years of product management experience, with a focus on consumer internet products and technologies or B2C Business.

- Zest for learning, hustlers 

- Strong consumer focus

- Innovative and capable of out-of-the-box thinking

- Able to create value using good business judgment

- Detail-oriented, however, does not lose the big picture of the final product and time to market

- Strong results orientation

- Excellent problem-solving skills - coming up with simple solutions to complex problems

- Team Player - the ability to drive consensus, leverage synergies from cross-functional teams

What you should know well:

- Direct work experience in a consumer internet company in India

- Working experience with SQL, as well as PDM/Visualization Tools like Looker/Tableau, Trello, JIRA

- Exposure to working with Data Science (and ML) teams, over and above Analytics
