About this role: - The Data Architect would be a part of the Core Team (Core Project Team would comprise of NLP Lead, Data Architect, Analytics Head, Technology Usability lead and would be led by a Project Director) - All the core team members would be experts with 10+ years of experience in their respective domains. The core team would play a pivotal role in effective execution of the project as well as presentation of the delivery plan to the clients senior management committee - The Data Architect would be completely responsible and accountable for the Database architecture and implementation for large scale of projects (USD 500K and above) and type of clients (industry leaders across domains, including Government and public sector RFP based itives) that SGA works with. - Data Architect would lead a team of relevant data architecture resources (including external vendors) that would help in the database architecture creation, deployment and database management on the clients cloud platform Required work experience: - 7+ years of overall industry experience specifically in data engineering - Data engineering and pipeline development experience in data lake from source systems to data lake - 3+ years of experience building and deploying large scale data processing pipelines in a production environment - Has Worked on SQL Databases: SQL, Mysql, Redshift, Access etc. - Is experienced in REST APIs, GIT, AWS /other cloud platforms - Has good experience with documentation (technical requirements, workflows, etc) - Has at least 2 years of experience on on-site/ direct client collaboration - Has led projects involving extraction of large amounts of semi-structured data (1TB+) and its processing into machine readable formats with semantic classification of data points into a common schema - Has expertise in metadata management tools like Informatica (Enterprise data catalog),SAP, Alex, Oracle Enteprise, MS Azure Data Catalog, etc. Project Characteristics : - Domain : IT/ Technology &amp; Digitization/ Big Data - Analytics &amp; ML, Large Scale Resource Outsourcing - Should have led at least 3-4 large scale projects worth INR 2 Crore and above involving Web-portal / App development and launch, Big data warehouse set-up and deployment of large amounts of semi-structured data sets (1TB +) into machine readable formats using strong and scalable data architecture technology stack. Job responsibilities: - Recommend the optimal and best-in-class data architecture (programming language, data schema map, catalog management system, meta data management and lineage tracking system, REST APIs,etc) for large, dynamic and un-structured /semi structured data-sets that need to be visually displayed for web-site portals of critical importance. - Choose the right mix of data management tools basis the size and structure of databases. - Responsible for Extracting, Transforming and Loading (ETL) of database across multiple schema, and location into a common schema that can handle on-the-fly and interactive visualization - Responsible for metadata management and automated anamoly detection - Accountable for ensuring system-enabled adherence to applicable data security protocols - Experience in converting semi-structured/ structured data across web-sites (data layouts) into a readily exportable format - Liase with client stakeholders to drive clarity and sign-offs on required visualization structure, as well as intermediate data schema layout related guidelines - Work closely with the Analytics lead inorder to create a data warehouse architecture that is amenable and scalable to NLP-driven search functionalities /text mining as well as other machine learning solutions. Specific Skills/ Expertise: - RDMSs (relational database management systems) or foundational database skills - Database management system software, especially Microsoft SQL Server - Databases such as NoSQL and cloud computing - Hadoop technologies, like MapReduce, Hive, and Pig - Information management and data processing on multiple cloud platforms - Machine learning tools- python/pyspark, R,etc - Data mining and modeling tools like ERWin, Enterprise Architect, and Visio - Programming languages, especially Python and Java, as well as C/C++ and Perl - Operating systems, including UNIX, Linux, Solaris, and MS Windows - Application server software, especially Oracle
