Role: Business Development Manager (Business Research & Consulting)  Location : Pune  Experience : 7 years or above  Job brief :   We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Business Development Manager to help us expand our clientele in Business Research and Strategy Consulting space. The candidate will be the front of the company and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective sales strategy.  The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients.  Key responsibilities :   - Managing new customer acquisition process, i.e. working closely with the lead generation team to manage complete lead life cycle.  - Owns complete end-to-end Sales cycle. Involves Pre-sales, Consulting, Account Management and Revenue Targets.  - Helps uncover new growth opportunities.  - Build strong relationships with existing clients and generate incremental revenue opportunities from them on a monthly basis.  - Manage all RFI, RFQ, and RFP processes.  - Utilize consultative, solution based selling techniques to identify revenue opportunities from existing and prospective clients.  - Lead weekly/monthly meeting with leadership and track sales team metrics and report data to leadership on a regular basis  Work Experience :   - Minimum 7 years plus experience in sales of high value products / services, preferred in consulting company.  - Must have experience of selling - Market research services to international clients.  - Should have International exposure including traveling of at least 2 years.  - Experience executing in Market Research assignments (Domestic / Global) can be of advantage.  Skill set & Educational background :   - Strong and self-confident communicator comfortable speaking with Director level and C-Level contacts and should have already worked/interacted with Director, VP and C-level contacts.  - Works well with customers to maintain high level of customer satisfaction and develop strong relationships.  - Experience in remote sales/ Inside Sales/ Concept selling is a must.  - Responds to customer needs quickly and thoroughly  - Strong skills in identifying opportunities.  - Flexible, organized and able to handle competing priorities  - Demonstrates a good understanding of Business Research and Consulting services.  - Credible experience in and knowledge of eCommerce, Financial Services, Hi-Tech, Manufacturing or Business Services would be desirable.  - Master's degree (MBA from a reputed institute is preferred)
