In India, idea7 Sewells is the leader in automotive retail performance solutions, and works with major OEMs, helping their dealer networks become more profitable and efficient.

The Role:

As Key Account Manager, you will head all of idea7 Sewells engagements with a strategic client in the automotive industry. You will be expected to:

- Set a vision for the account and build a plan to achieve the vision.

- Engage with the client top management and evolve as the go-to-guy for anything related to network capability and performance.

- Lead and motivate a young and dynamic team of over 12 members operating in a variety of areas within the client environment.

- This role is based out of Navi Mumbai and compensation would be between 6-8 lacs per annum.

The Responsibilities:

- As Key Account Manager, you will take full ownership of the account and ensure that the company is able to make a meaningful, measurable contribution to the client's business

Your job responsibilities will fall into three core areas:

Client engagement

- You will be responsible for the smooth functioning of the account and current projects that the client is engaged on.

- You will responsible for interacting with the client and keeping them updated on current status, progress and recommended next steps.

Business Development

- You will be responsible for proactively identifying business opportunities within the account that allow Sewells Group to add value to the client's network operation.

- You will be responsible for responding to inbound business opportunities by way of RFPs and RFQs.

Revenue Assurance

- You will hold profit & loss responsibility for your account.

- You will be responsible for ensuring 100% conversion of confirmed orders into projects, and translation of projects into revenue in a timely manner.

General Management

- You will operate your account as a strategic business unit within the organization, with a high degree of freedom and independence in return for exceptional performance.

The Person:

- If you are a person who is completing Executive MBA Program in 2012 with an engineering degree and prior Sales/ Marketing experience will be surely be a plus. Key Skills:

As Key Account Manager, you will interact frequently with the top management teams at a large automotive OEM. On that count:

- Top drawer written and spoken communication skills + excellent presentation skills are a given.

- Ability to analyze data, generate insights and translate them into engaging management presentations will be a given.

- You will have demonstrated strong consulting aptitude in your career.

- You will have demonstrated leadership capability and skills in your career.
