Position: Service Solutions Architect Job Description: Translating customer needs and technological opportunities into detailed technical proposals and solutions Will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and developing commercially viable end-to-end technical solutions for customers. Will lead the technical solution for the entire project life cycle. Responsibilities : Pre-Sale: - Develop novel customer-tailored end-to-end technical solutions according to customer needs - Responsible for conducting research on existing systems and Advising solutions - Gathering requirements and specifications from clients and users, working closely with sales/pre-sales team members and enterprise architects to gain a complete sense of client expectations and limitations before undertaking a major project - Defining features, phases, and solution requirements - Evaluation, verification and homologation if required, as well as selection of technologies and vendors such as packet-switched networking, optical fiber networks, microwave-based access networks, Last Mile based on LTE or Point to Multipoint technologies - Develop technical presentations and proposals - High-Level Design (HLD) of the solution and topology (including scope of work) - Interact with multiple functions to create the Low-Level Design of the solution: R&amp;D, Product Management, Pre-Sale, Planning &amp; Design team, third party companies - Presenting project guidelines and milestones to internal &amp; external team members including costumers. - Describing the structure, characteristics, behavior, and other aspects of solution to project stakeholders. Post-Sale: - Work closely with Program Manager, leading all technical aspects of it, in the execution phase of the contract - Accompanying Project implementation teams, during the different project phases, answering questions and helping to resolve raised issues - Ensure specifications and requirements are clearly understood and followed by the teams. - Lead the verification and homologation phase of the solution= working closely with R&amp;D and 3rd party providers- - Drive the execution of the High Level Design as well as Low Level Design during the entire project life cycle - Communicate continuously with the Program Manager and customers- Point of Contact (POC) during the entire project life cycle - Participate in knowledge transfer, documentation, and information sharing- - Provide technical consulting services to customers - Identify new opportunities during the execution phase of the contract Requirements: Degree /Diploma in Electronics / Communication / Computer Engineering : Transmission/Telecommunication with 10+ years of experience in the following: - Data Switching - Design of telecommunications networks and ISP - Telecommunications transport equipment and the services / protocols used for each one (i.e. IP / MPLS Routers, DWDM, SDH, Ethernet, TDM, etc.) - Microwave-based Access Network including aggregation and data distribution - Last Mile based on LTE technology and/or Point-to-Multipoint - Networking, IP Planning - High Level Design based on state-of-the-art telecommunications technologies - Optical and mobile backhaul technologies such as SDH, DWDM, ROADM (OTN), ASON - RAN knowledge (2G/3G/4G network architecture) - Superior communication skills and experience in interfacing with customers - Ability to quickly engage in projects, work in fast-paced environment, and multi-task - Creativity / Innovation: Ability to develop new and unique ways to improve the operations of the organization and to create new opportunities - Encourage teamwork: Ability to work cooperatively and effectively with others to set goals and solve problems - Organization: Ability to monitor progress towards objectives and track details / data / information / activities - Find Solutions: Ability to evaluate through collecting and processing relevant information technologies to generate possible solutions and make recommendations - Fluent in English Other information : The role requires a certain amount of travel
