Service Delivery Manager/Team Manager - IPV Equities - Investment Consulting

Job Location : Pune

Position : Service Delivery Manager (SDM) & Team Manager (depending upon your experience)

Experience range : 5-9 years

CTC : Hike shall be offered on Fixed component

Work Experience and Skills required :

- 5 + years of work experience in valuation /product control.

- Strong valuation and fundamental understanding Equities, Equities Derivatives, Option, Volatility, Var Swap and other Equities derivative products.

- Able to value the financial products and understand associate risk of each product.

- Can perform Independent price verification of above products.

- Can perform Reserve for fair value.

- Preparing monthly valuation reports that are presented to senior management, auditors and regulators.

- Producing summary commentary on key valuation items including IPV results, reserve movements and valuation issues. The commentary needs to convey key messages to management, therefore going beyond factual reporting.

- Reviewing and aggregating monthly Fair Value Hierarchy categorization results for internal and external disclosure purposes.

- Assist in responding to requests from external regulators, Quants and internal & external auditors.

- Performing Technical supervision of tasks before sharing it to client.

- Discuss and explain the results to Front Office desk or trader.

- Can take the complete ownership of results.

- Identify, drive & implement standardisation & automation of process where necessary. Interact with IT team to ensure timely and high quality output.

- Provide ad-hoc support to the valuations team, collecting, analysing and presenting data as necessary to allow management decisions to be made.

- Can interpret the impact of accounting policy changes on the portfolio and monitor compliance with accounting policies

- Ability to identify issues and initiate solutions.

- Proven experience and very good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and pivot tables. Experience with Macros is an advantage.

- Demonstrate flexibility and manage time-zone differences effectively.

- A working knowledge of Bloomberg & Totem is an advantage.
