We, at Serco are currently hiring for Manager - Payroll based out of our Thane location.

Need candidates that have worked on Indian Payrolls. Candidates with team handling experience will be preferred as they will have to manage a team of 2 to 4 members.

We are looking for both payroll accounting and processing and employee expenses reimbursements. Candidates must be part of the accounts/finance department.

5 days working. General shifts - 10.30 am onwards.

Key responsibilities would be-

1. Managing the monthly payroll processing and employee reimbursements for about 15,000 employees

2. Effective co-ordination with Payroll Shared Service Centre and managing their SLA’s and deliverables

3 Compliance with TDS on salaries, PF, ESIC, Labour Laws, Gratuity provisions and other statutory liabilities

4. Process Improvements with focus on automisation and laying policy guidelines for various Payroll activities

5. Disbursement of employee salaries on time and related accounting of payroll journals

6. Open Item clearance in SAP Payroll with Nil balances in control accounts

7. Delivering Payroll accounting schedules within deadlines

8. Handling the statutory auditors on aspects relating to payroll and closing the issues

9. Employee expense settlements with agreed TAT and procedures

10. Ensuring zero esclations from employees on their payments and settlements

11. Liasioning with Provident Fund authorities and closure of PF issues

12. No significant audit observations from Statutory and Internal Auditors on payroll area

13. Effective governance and control on Payroll activities.

14. Preparing Payroll dashboard to track the performance

15. Finance SPOC among SSC, employees and the company.
