Major Responsibilities:

- Execute tests, collect and analyze data and results, identify trends and insights in order to achieve maximum ROI in organic search campaigns

- Track, report, and analyze website analytics and content marketing campaigns

- Optimize copy and landing pages for search engine marketing. Reviewing and analyzing client sites for areas that can be improved and optimized

- Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion and optimization. Identifying powerful keywords to drive the most valuable traffic

- Writing powerful calls-to-action to convert visitors

- Writing effective SEO content for blogs, websites and social media accounts

- Research and implement search engine optimization recommendations

- Research and analyze competitor links. Analyzing keywords and SEO techniques used by competitors

- Develop and implement link building strategy

- Work with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code

- Work with editorial and marketing teams to drive SEO in content creation and content programming

- Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords

- Preparing detailed strategy reports

- Be responsible for owning all SEO efforts for both on-page and off-page SEO efforts & initiatives

- KRAs and KPIs would involve increasing high quality organic traffic to the website, improving search engine rankings for strategically relevant keywords, and ultimately all efforts resulting in higher organic lead generation for the company

- Keeping updated on both white hat and black hat SEO strategies to stay within search engine guidelines

- Compiling and presenting SEO guidelines

Desired Profile:

- Prior proven experience of 4-5 years in content marketing, content growth and SEO

- Solid understanding of content marketing and SEO for organic customer acquisition

- In-depth experience with website analytics tools (e.g, Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends)

- Experience with website optimization tools and working knowledge of CMS to update the website for implementing SEO strategy

- Experience with analytics reporting tools and dashboard such as Hootsuite and Zoho etc.

- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints

- Knowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms

- Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO and SEM

- Practical, hands-on delivery with attention to detail

- Comfortable with fast paced and frequently evolving landscape

- Ability to understand ideas, brainstorm and bring it to life

- Outstanding ability to think creatively, strategically, and identify and resolve problems

- Excellent verbal and written communication skill

- Ability to work within a team and independently

- Strong organizational, time management, and analytical skills
