Sentiss Pharma - Deputy General Manager - Formulation Development

DELIVERY OF PROJECTS : 

- To ensure processes are developed and optimized as per the Regulatory requirements and Pharmacopeia.

- To ensure all Analytical and Stability studies are conducted as per the Regulatory requirement and Pharmacopeia.

- To ensure regular updates are provided to the PM team on timelines, and cost.

- To coordinate with all departments to ensure all protocols are adhered to with respect to Quality, and Regulatory, ensure regular communication is maintained with both the departments to highlight any risks.

- Ensure availability of all RM during the research process.

- To coordinate with PPC team to ensure that exhibit batches are communicated in the Production plan to the plant and ensure that RM are available at the plant.

- To ensure that all documents, processes and analytical methods, STPs and Specifications are transferred to plant as per the SOPs.

 TEAM MANAGEMENT AND DEVELOPMENT: 

- Guide and mentor Scientists to develop research ability.

- Provide regular trainings in the function for insights in changes in technology, molecules, changes in Pharmacopeia, Regulatory, Patent etc.

- Provide regular feedback and coaching on performance and behaviour of the team

- Ensure adequate on-the-job and other trainings are provided to the Scientists and Managers.

- Ensure and conduct bi-annual performance review is carried out on time and constructive feedback is given to every employee.

COST MANAGEMENT: 

- Review inventories to reduce any wastage due to ageing.

- Review budgets quarterly and track variance.

- Review costs in the functions and take appropriate actions to reduce any wastage.

DRIVE OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE: 

- Ensure implementation of SOPs as laid down by the guidelines.

- Support CQA in Internal and External Audits and ensure all recommendations are adhered.

- Work closely with Supply Chain to ensure all exhibit batches are incorporated in S&OP

- Work closely with Production team to ensure all Raw materials are ready before the batch starts.

- To implement the concepts of Quality by Design.
