Senior VP/VP - Asset Liability Management - BFSI

- This includes any request from regulators as well as senior management in ALCM/Treasury

- Works jointly with Treasury Controls & Analytics to ensure appropriate allocation of resources and ensure timely and accurate delivery of analyses

- Delivery of high quality review and assurance, with accompanying commentaries providing technical and commercial insight

- Designs, implements and governs globally efficient processes, serving, to the largest extent possible, both Group and local needs from a standard operating model and enabling replication of analyses across the Group

Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications

- Experienced financial services professional (15+ years), likely qualified e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA or other (e.g. CFA)

- Demonstrates extensive Finance and ALCM practitioner experience

- Track record of leading change in the context of complex regulatory reporting environment

- Exposure to multiple regulatory jurisdictions

- Deep experience of a range of businesses and operational processes across the breadth of financial services environment

- Skilled in handling and controlling operational data

- Strong ability to anticipate, identify and mitigate risks and apply appropriate controls over ad hoc production processes

- Proactively looks for methods to simplify processes and improve efficiency

- Excellent problem solver with well-developed analytical skills

- Experience of delivering to multiple internal and external stakeholders such as external auditors, regulators, audit committees, businesses, etc. and ability to successfully navigate a matrix structure

- Experience of operating in a diverse international financial services group with a matrix structure encompassing business, functional and geographical dimensions

- Ability to manage multiple and, at times, conflicting objectives, prioritising effectively

- Commercially minded and ability to both make decisions in a timely manner and to delegate to others

- Proven ability to influence at senior levels across functions, geographies and businesses

- Excellent all-round communication skills
