Responsibilities : - Expand relationships with existing partners (ecommerce partners, logistics companies, payment partners) and form new partnerships to scale GMV by continuously proposing solutions that would help meet GMV targets - Review the performance of team periodically vis- vis business plan to advise or appraise them accordingly. - Manage strategy, operations, finance and take complete P&L responsibility of the business - Ensures regular publishing of dashboards and key metrics to appraise senior management of the progress and performance of the vertical - Ensuring timely closure of accounts, books, preparation of MIS. - Manage relationship with high performing sellers, including visiting them, understanding their pain points and solving them - Recruit new and large-scale sellers through a comprehensive pitch of our service offerings - Update technology team on market feedback of international sellers, channel partners and share insights on iteration of our proprietary technology product - Stakeholder management (internal, external) and managing conflicts with grace - Prepare business & financial plans and pitch to investors for a potential fund raise Desired Requirements: - Minimum 7-8 years of experience in leading different functions in an organisation - Should have a strategic mindset for visualizing future possibilities and to translate them into breakthrough strategies - Business driven, people focused, with exceptional influencing skills; excellent organizational, multi-tasking, presentation and time-management skills - Excellent communication and presentation skills with experience in providing crisp, insightful information to executive teams - Flexible mindset, and should be comfortable with complex environment and with evolving priorities - Entrepreneurial spirit and creative thinking - Work experience in ecommerce is a significant advantage - Strong business development capabilities - Understanding of technology and software products is a significant advantage - Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one's sleeves to get the job - Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams in a matrix organization - MBA degree from a reputed institute is highly preferred.
