Senior VP - Product - Cards

Position Summary

- The role holder has the overall responsibility of delivering the P&L of the cards business which in terms of top line is $ 3.5MM in 2016 fiscal and going to $10 MM in fiscal 2018. For information the business made about $1.7 MM in top line last year and will be almost break-even in 2016

- Develop emerging card brands, virtual wallets, contactless payment and ecommerce gateways

- Implement new payment services and its lifecycle.

- Pro-actively innovate and develop product strategies, product design and translating them into project implementation and operations.

- Be the primary subject matter expert, responsible for engagement with industry partners, stakeholders and regulators for business development, clarification or compliance

- Work closely with service managers, business managers, sales, marketing and operations teams to ensure service revenue, customer satisfaction and the product SLA goals are met. Work with various departments in Intellect to design processes, policies, price plans, go to market strategy, sales kits and other product guidelines for new products.

- Ensure product documentation and processes are up to date, compliant and meet the requirements of auditors and regulators.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

- Responsible for overall product line of cards' product

- Identify market opportunities, gaps and threats, own product and service offerings, Identify Positioning

- Define the roadmap and new offerings

- Owns GTM strategy and ensures readiness

- Works through BD to ensure market awareness

- Responsible for setting Price and Commercials

- Ensures development of Standard implementation plan

- RFP responses, follow up on proposals

Skill Requirements

- Must be a MBA from a tier 1/top end of tier 2 colleges

- Must have at least 15 years of post educational experience having necessarily worked in a bank/cards company.

- Strong exposure to product and marketing function in the bank, must understand the drivers of profitability very well

- Preferable to have more than one Geography experience besides India Market

- Self starter with very strong communication skills both written and oral

- Willing to travel extensively globally and build relationships.

- Should have extensive connections within the related industry

- Very high work ethics with a strong bias towards action.
