Senior Vice President - Strategy & Innovation

Responsibilities :

- Responsible for the deliverables and performance of the functional unit.

- Should be clearly able to define the Business Requirements and translate them into functional Solutions.

- Should be able to Work on and guide team for DRG, BRD, LLD, HLD and Business acceptance of Solution Design and Delivery.

- Must have extensive knowledge of application development lifecycle.

- Should have good understanding of Latest Development Trends and Cloud Based Application Deployments and Tools used.

- Subject Matter expert in Payments systems Domain.

- Should be able to coordinate and deliver by engaging at various levels of stakeholders both internal and external

- Should have vendor Management skills and be able to Work on RFP/ Tender Process , define the Scope of Work with clear roles and responsibilities

- Work with development, QA and support team members across different teams for their respective deliverables.

- Should be able to integrate any updated specifications and requirements into the systems architecture.

- Should follow Project Management Practices for timely delivery of Project within allocated Budgets.

- Should be able to Present the Product / Project concept for approval to Board and Senior Management.

- Should be able to work on Budgeting and costing of the projects and overall TCO.

- Adhere to organisation process and policies and remain in compliance guidelines.

- Should strongly follow Change Management Practices to Deliver high quality change within the deadlines.

Experience :

- Candidate should have 20+ years of overall experience which includes 12-14 years of experience of payment domain.

- Candidate must possess 8 - 10 years of experience in product management or new product development with experience of shipping high-quality products in the payments industry.

- Understands and can explain the business context and the associated customer use cases.

- Experience in Lean Product management and Lean management principles and practices. Can deliver high quality technology products/services in a high growth environment where priorities shift rapidly.

- Comprehensive experience in agile delivery methodologies (scrum, Kanban, etc.), CI/CD and modern DevOps based PDLC and SDLC. Technical savviness to enable TDD and BDD.

- Track record of successful delivery of product features from design, development, deployment and customer integration.

- Proficient at grooming user stories, features and epics, setting entrance/exit criteria and prioritizing a platform product backlog.

- Data driven - ability to define measurable and SMART leading and lagging metrics for all backlog items to enable decisions and priority.

- Constantly learning, seeking out technical knowledge and educating the entire organization about trends, technologies and approaches

- Deep understanding of the platform, the integration patterns, the organizational capabilities, and the company wide assets that can be leveraged to provide technical solutions to customer problems

- 10+ years of managing the mid-size teams and stakeholders at different levels including sr. management level.

Knowledge :

- Domain/Functional knowledge - Banking, Financial Services, Payments Systems, Digital Payments with good understanding of ISO 8583 & 20022 messaging standards.

- Proven record of solutioning enterprise level products and its deployments.

- Strong knowledge in Payment Gateway solutions, Card payments, Tokenisation and Internet Banking solution and supporting products like Fraud and Risk Management (FRM).

- Functional understanding of Fraud Risk Platform, case management portal, risk scoring concepts

- Good understanding of latest payments trends and provide innovative solutions, use cases keeping in mind consumer convenience in mind

- Someone who is able to understand the business and functional requirements and bridge the gap with technology teams for implementation of the same.

Skills :

- A product expert with good experience in banking and payment space. Payment Systems and Different Digital mode of payments.

- Product Management skills - coordinate with cross functional teams, business, technology, compliance etc.. for product planning and delivery.

- Strong problem solving, risk mitigating and analytical skills with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Willing to learn new technologies / tools as required, in order to effectively deliver output.

- Self starter, take initiatives, own and drive E2E solution. Action oriented & hands on: Owns outcomes & deliverables.

- Thrives in a highly collaborative environment involving different stakeholders and subject matter experts globally- across multiple regions. Recognize discordant views and take part in constructive dialog to resolve them.

- Ability to engage with numerous stakeholders on existing product capabilities and potential co-development opportunities or dependencies.
