Senior Vice President Senior Manager/Analyst - Analytics

a. Experience an analytics role having managed a team of at least 2-3 people (for senior roles)

b. Experience in the payments space would help but not necessary

c. Experience with complex problem solving and analysis using statistical methods, and financial modelling;

d. Experience working cross-functionally;

e. Proven ability to develop new ideas and creative solutions;

f. Proven ability to work successfully in an ambiguous environment;

g. Proven ability to manage higher level of stakeholders;

a. Lead a team of Business Analysts to

(a) Define an agenda for how to apply analytics to solve optimize performance and profitability of the ATM/POS/payment gateway estate

(b) Deliver business insights, and

(c) Lead the reporting function on key metrics

b. Work closely with the operations and business finance team, to drive decision making and measure results.

Education:

a. A top engineering college like an IIT or a IIM equivalent b-school or a degree in statistics from a premier institution

b. Hands on experience with SQL needed

c. Analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions;

d. Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects (work prioritization, planning and task delegation);

e. History of teamwork and willingness to roll up one's sleeves to get the job done.

f. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
