Seeking a CA or MBA from a reputed Institution

What you'll do :

- Partner with operations, product, and business partners to achieve the next generation of commercial insurance operations

- Demonstrate a mastery of the commercial P&C insurance industry, including technical insurance knowledge, processes, and workflows of a retail agency and wholesale operation business

- Design foundational processes around the insurance side of the business. From there, lead the execution and ongoing management

- Manage ongoing carrier relationships (including compensation) and serve as primary point of escalation on all insurance placement activities

- Ensure that compliance and reporting requirements are met

- Oversee initiatives for performance and process improvement across insurance operations

- Manage talent recruitment and management as it relates to insurance operations

- Help define a culture of excellence that will scale with the company

What you'll Demonstrate:

- 15+ years of general insurance operations experience (i.e., possessing a firm grasp on all the component functions of insurance agency operations)

- 10+ years of total insurance industry experience

- Strong track record of developing and implementing insurance operating models

- Experience designing and improving workflows as well as standing up accompanying operating and technical procedures

- Keen awareness of the financial levers associated with commercial insurance distribution

- Motivated by the opportunity to innovate and change how things have "always been done"

- Excellent communication and writing skills; comfortable interacting with agency and carrier stakeholders

- Strong analytical decision making and organizational skills

- Grounded by the need to deliver value to customers

- Commitment to being a lifelong learner and a hunger for continuous improvement

Nice to have:

- Familiarity with the landscape of vendors that can support insurance operations & Technology

- An appreciation for the operational requirements of Ops and Tech in General Insurance broking

- Experience working with regulator IRDA of insurance

- Prior work at or with innovative actors in insurance distribution (e.g., insuretech, in-house innovation at broker/carrier)

- Licensed insurance qualifications
