A qualified CA Rank Holder / MBA from IIM's with 18+ years of work experience in heading the role of Finance & Accounts, techno commercial would be the right fitment.

Role dimensions :

Business focus and Partnering :

- He is expected to work hard in getting up to speed, especially if coming from a different industry, develop a strong grip on all facets of the business in a short span and be a dynamic business partner.

- The foremost responsibility of the Finance & Accounts Head is financial risk assessment, growing the business profitability, tax planning and improving control mechanism.

- Top and bottom line monitoring

- Train and groom commercial managers

- Logistics monitoring on an International level.

- A good aptitude of manufacturing-led contracting, tendering, return-on-capital

Accounting and Finance :

- A team of VP Finance along with 8 senior reportees and about 22 commercial managers from international project sites report to the Head.

- The central finance team will assist the Head in fund-related activities including costing, zero-budgeting, assessment of collections and cash-flow.

- He will ensure compilation of all accounts and consolidate balance sheet on quarterly, half yearly and annual basis.

- He will ensure that accountancy standards are followed as per local books of accounts

- Deal with local consultants on a regular basis to maintain legal compliance and adherence to statutory compliance norms.

Project tracking and Control :

- The Head will periodically visit international project sites on need basis to understand complexities and take appropriate actions.

- He will closely track the progress of each project from its cost and time-line

- He will be involved in the operations, logistics, finance, IT, consolidation, and systems management of every project site and add value to it.

- Although currently finance and business management are the core focus areas for this role, the entire procurement function can be off-loaded at a later stage.
