- Provide strategic leadership to the COO Utility to enable them to support COO pillar heads business managers in driving key COO initiatives. - Collaborate with stakeholders and define and implement a target operating model - Work in partnership with COO Pillar leads/business managers in identifying common BAU activities performed across business services and regions, standardize and automate (where possible) and replicate best practices - Responsible for execution of efficiency initiatives of Operations COO function across respective business service/region - Provide high quality insight and analysis over key business performance metrics - The role requires strong leadership and business partnering skillsto be able to drive COO strategies in governance forums and leverage the wide range of expertise available in the Group without the support of formalized reporting lines - Ensure that there are effective relationships and communication is developed with key stakeholders (e.g. Sponsor, Business stakeholders)
