Senior Vice President - Controls and Reconciliation


We are hiring a Vice President - First Line of Defence / Controls for a Financial Services client in Pune.

MUST HAVE : Reconciliation Experience

- Analytical approach - A logical approach to problem-solving, making rational decisions based on analysis of data from a wide range of sources

- Creating a collaborative open culture - Outstanding collaboration across organizational boundaries; actively encouraging inclusivity and diversity and facilitating open communication between teams

- Managing risk - Demonstrated experience in evaluating risk likelihood and impact; taking into account all risk factors to balance risk, service and cost when communicating risk implications and contingency plans

- Strategic-thinking - A strategic, creative approach, proactively seeking opportunities to drive continuous improvement and change

- Delivering business value and productivity - Taking accountability for organizing and delivering work to improve business value for clients and business partners, establishing what can be delivered and the viability of solutions

- Relationship building - Strong, adaptable relationship building skills across colleagues, business partners and external partners at all levels

- Influencing and communicating information - Outstanding communication and presentation skills and can present complex information in an understandable, relevant and engaging way

- Experience in either Nostro Reconciliations, Product Control, Financial Accounting or Control/ Operational Risk

- Desirable experience in Audit, SOX and Risk Functions

- Ability to chair and manage governance meetings with senior management, balancing competing views, negotiating collaborative agreements with beneficial outcomes for all partners

- Outstanding interpersonal and presentation skills and can influence and interact with colleagues at all levels across the bank

- Ability to work on multiple projects and meet strict deadlines under pressure

- Outstanding data analytical skills and ability to write policy documentation

- Dedication to fostering an inclusive culture and value diverse perspectives.
