Senior Vice President - Buying & Merchandising - Retail

As the Senior Vice President of Buying and Merchandising, you will be working closely with the CEO and Business teams to develop AOP for the year and later make relevant quarterly execution plans to drive the business outcomes.

Job Responsibilities includes but not limited to :

- Overseeing and optimizing our end to end business which includes Buying and Merchandizing, SCM, Sourcing, Planning and Pricing and Design.

- Play a pivotal role in scaling our business operations and contributing to the growth of our business. Knowledge of customer experience will be an added advantage.

- Enable industry insights to the core leadership team on the trending genz culture in the world market and inputs on the designs one should move on.

- Oversee the end to end supply chain, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing, production, and distribution of fashion products.

- Work closely with leaders and vendors in sourcing to negotiate the best price. This can include negotiating better terms, optimising procurement processes and ensuring On Time deliverables.

- Heading Planning, B&M, Sourcing, Pricing and Strategy to make sure all the functions are aligned.

- Desired Profile would be Bachelor's degree & MBA in business, operations management, 15+ years of relevant B&M, Sourcing, Planning, Pricing and Strategy experience.

- A minimum of 5 years of experience in an e-commerce start-up with a focus on D2C operations.

- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and entrepreneurial environment.

- Should have successfully demonstrated stakeholder management traits (vendors, internal teams and external agencies)
