Senior Vice President - Business Development (Early Stage Fintech Startup in Financial Analysis)

Position Summary : 

This role is ideal for someone who has the right mix of intellect, leadership, passion, energy, and experience to set up, develop and grow a financial analysis service business. The candidate should be well networked in the financial/banking/corporate institutions in India/overseas. The candidate will play an instrumental role to build a fintech company with a focus on Artificial Intelligence, automation and algorithm in the financial analysis space. The candidate should be ready to take the risk of coming out of the safety net and to take a plunge with an early stage startup.

Requirements:

- Minimum 5 years of experience in business development with banking/financial institutions or Fixed Income Sales serving institutional/corporate clients in India/Overseas.

- Prior experience in the leadership team managing a team of not less than 3 analysts/salesperson

- Strong academic record and qualified as Chartered Accountant, CFA or MBA (finance) from top tier institutes.

- Entrepreneurial mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities, dynamic and investment enthusiast

- Excellent business development, communication and presentation skills.

- Should have inquisitive attitude, creative mindset, a go-getter and passionate towards financial analysis

- Good contacts in the financial industry and has a good alumni network, which would come forward to help

- Willingness to travel in India and overseas for client meetings and presentations.

Key Responsibilities :

- Initiate, develop and maintain business relationships with financial/corporate institutions across the European, North American and Asian (HK/ China, SG, JPN, IND) to market and sell the company's financial analysis products.

- Co-ordinate with the operations team, which will be executing the company's financial analysis.

- You need to be able to hire, use your network and bring in top performers you know and trust, but also enable to identify culture fits and top performers when you meet with them.

- Develop the company's framework and roadmap for business development, execution, and marketing.

- Liaise with the company's founders to execute the company's vision, strategy, and mission.

- Ensure company and its businesses comply with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements and best operational practices.
