Sr.VP-Asset Servicing(Corporate Action) This is a senior management position in Asset Servicing based in Bengaluru. The role of the Corporate Actions Manager consists of ensuring high quality service provision to clients in compliance with relevant corporate and local policies and standards including oversight of delegated activities. - Provide local leadership and oversight on the Corporate action functions - Ensure adherence to relevant policies. - Ensure adherence to the Service Level Agreements (SLA) with major stakeholders in order to oversee the quality of the services rendered and improve operational efficiency. - Monitor and enhance operational key performance indicators. - Ensure that all internal/external clients receive the highest quality of service, executing requests/instructions/queries accurately while adhering to company standards. - Proactively lead continuous improvement initiatives. - Work with high degree of independence. - Be responsible for the maintenance of procedures and new policies as required by new regulations, system changes or other. - Take the lead of internal projects, assess impacts, manage feedback and requirements for process enhancements and engage in testing efforts. - Demonstrate drive and innovation to build out a progressive approach to improving the quality of service delivered to clients. - Take an active role in the local Hub Leadership Team and Initiatives Essential Skills and Experience : - Significant knowledge and keen interest in financial markets, product & business knowledge, including strong experience (15+ years) working in fund industry including Corporate Actions. - Proven ability to engage with senior management and stakeholders. - Solid operational experience with ability to identify gaps and develop innovative solutions across multiple stakeholder groups. - Direct team management experience. - Ability to work in a fast paced environment, apply critical thinking and a logical/structured framework to a range of situations. - Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships across the business, at all levels of management and stakeholders - Strong leadership skills to work across all levels of the organization and bringing teams together to achieve results. - Excellent partnership and team management skills, with ability to work closely with various teams, business and other functional stakeholders. - A self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility. - Outstanding attention to detail and ability to learn complex processes that affect various functions and business units. - Action-oriented with a focus on results, display strong analytical skills, be able to assess and clearly articulate solutions. - Strong organizational, control, project management, communication and negotiation skills. - Strong Controls Focus: excellence in designing optimal operations controls & workflows. - Act as a change agent and demonstrate willingness to take ownership of initiatives and be proactive in leading and directing change. - Experience in dealing with highly complex, demanding client organizations. - Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
