Senior Trading Analyst - Quant/Equity Markets

Working on a requirement of Sr. Trading Analyst in Quant / Equity Markets

JD:-

Position :- Sr. Trading Analyst (Quant / Equity Markets Team)

The role is responsible for

- Identifying trading opportunities and managing a trading book within specified risk limits

- In-depth analysis of special situations, events which may be fundamental, macro driven in order to capture different trading opportunities

This role could lead to being responsible for the P&L of the entire desk and leading the team in the future.

As the role evolves, managing and mentoring the team

a. Analyzing and assessing the risk reward across special situation opportunities. This requires evaluating trade-offs presented in different scenarios.

b. Analyzing different events which impact the market, identifying the impact of these events, finding trading/investment opportunities.

c. Managing own trading book and on-going trades of the desk

d. Innovation, research & implementation of new trading strategies, to ensure growth of the desk in terms of its bouquet of products

e. Post trade analytics, review of the desk

f. Ensuring that pre and post corporate action processes are in place

g. This role could lead to P&L responsibility of the Risk Arbitrage trading desk

i. Understanding of market microstructure, company/sector fundamentals

j. Knowledge of derivatives, multiple products, multiple trading strategies

k. Capability to assess risk/reward trade-offs in an ambiguous environment.

l. Analytical skills, logical thinking, ability to analyze special situations/corporate event/macro event

m. In-depth understanding of Corporate Action Regulations
