Senior Trader for Spices

Qualification and Key Skills:

1. 10-20 years of Agri commodities' Trading, of which 8+ years of experience focused on Indian Spices (Cumin, Coriander, Turmeric, Value Added Spices). Additionally, some exposure to Oilseeds would be useful.

2. Candidate will be expected to be an enterprising, analytical, result oriented Trader, having strong business development skills that will open new doors as well as nurture his existing Buyer relationships.

3. Where Buyer or Geographic synergies exist, he may enhance his portfolio profitability by offering the company's other Agri products.

4. A strong existing network of Buyers, sound knowledge of Quality Specs, assessment of Trading Risks & their mitigation, sharp commercial acumen, robust understanding of international shipping/payment systems, strong communication and teamwork would be important competencies of the right candidate.

5. High level of integrity in the candidate goes without saying.

Desirable, not mandatory - Some Trading experience of alternative Origins and knowledge of foreign languages though not mandatory, would be an advantage.
