Senior Trade Operator - Concentrates Metals

This opportunity is with one of our clients, an international trading company that specializes in ferrous and non-ferrous metals.

Senior Operator - Ferrous/Non-Ferrous Metals

Required Experience :

1. Experience in Metal Trading Operations preferably in Ferrous/Non-Ferrous Metals and knowledge of Minor Metals will be an added advantage.

2. Experience in Concentrates domain would be preferred.

3. Knowledge of Incoterms and shipment related day to day activities.

4. Basic understanding of trade cycle and logistics execution.

5. Understanding of exposure and associated risks.

6. Good Multi-tasking skills and Analytical Skills.

7. Accurate and efficient working style with good attention to detail.

8. Capability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

9. Flexibility to work during different time zones.

10. Ability to handle voluminous data and analysis in the in-house ERP system to align day to day operations flow.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Responsible for all aspects of executing end to end physical trading operations.

2. Responsibilities includes but are not limited to:

- Contract creation and execution of physical trades as per agreed contractual terms

- Working with exposure and cargo reports

- Regular co-ordination required with internal stake holders to execute the contract (Traders, Finance, Pricing desk etc).

- Maintaining relationships with counter-parties and service providers.

3. Full understanding of following is required:

- Understanding of Products

- Export import procedures

- Letter of Credits

- Logistical activities - organize bulk, container, truck shipments and day to day operations till delivery at disport

- Warehousing

- Inventory management

- Incoterms

- Cargo Insurance

- Quality and quantity analysis

- Risks Exposures - Physical and Pricing
