Position Overview :
- Technical Sales Engineers are responsible for developing relationships with customers and growing accounts in their respective locations. Technical sales engineers are vital members of the dynamic sales group here at the Company, whose foundation is anchored on teamwork, integrity, accountability and enthusiasm.
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Strong Technology understanding, capable of solving complex technical impediments and able to communicate clearly and effectively to both Account Managers and Customers.
- Partner with Sales Executives and Account Mangers to educate existing and prospective customers about Company services - this include presentations, technical evaluations and prototype integrations in customer/partner environments.
- Identify current and future customer service requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential customers.
- Prepares sales engineering reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales information and engineering and application trends.
- Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education and working on after-sales support services and providing technical back up as required
- Identify and properly qualify new business opportunities using available resources
Desired Qualification :
- Bachelor's degree, preferably from Technology background
- 5-8 years of experience in customer facing roles
- Self-starter motivated, team focused and results driven
- Strong presentation, organizational, and time management skills
- Demonstrated track record of consistently exceeding corporate goals
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Strong technical skills: able to provide customers with hands-on technique using our products
