Senior Technical Architect - Oracle

We have an opportunity for a Sr.Technical Architect-Oracle for one of our MNC client in Pune.

Job Description : Senior Architect JD - Oracle

- Design production system architecture

- Ensure production system stability and availability

- Plan and deploy production systems, migration or upgrade

- System debugging and performance tuning

- Train junior engineers and teammates

- Disaster recovery design, implementation and support

- Lead the team

- Ability to fulfill role/duties independently within defined policies and procedures

- Ability to balance multi-task and multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction is key

- Be able to work on multiple projects and willing to work on occasional weekend maintenance windows

- Ability to function both as an individual contributor as well as a team player

- Strong communication skills and fluent English

- Worked in a infrastructure critical environment and understands how technology adds value to the business and ultimately the end customer

- Ability to lead the technical discussions with clients and other IT services teams

Technical Skills

Oracle DBA

- Good experience in Oracle administration

- Strong Knowledge of Oracle & RDBMS concepts

- Strong hands on experience as Oracle DBA on Oracle 10.x & above.

Experience on Oracle 12c preferred.

- Good working knowledge in Windows,Linux and Unix environments

- Strong hands on build DB, configuration, upgrade, migration and patching for large databases

- Strong on Backup/Recovery RMAN and RAC

- Strong Knowledge and experience of ASM, Data Guard

- Hands on experience on of Performance Tuning of high transaction applications

- Knowledge on Golden Gate and Exadatadesirable

- Work experience in Banking and Financial domain is a plus
