Urgently Required Senior Team Member/Team Manager - Credit & Risk (Power Sector) for a Leading NBFC to be based at their corporate office in Mumbai.

Team Managing Experience Mandatory

Brief about the profile:

Sector Expertise for Power - Fundamental understanding of Renewable, Thermal, Hydro, Natural Gas.

Interpretation of Orders from Regulatory Commissions.

Hands on with the central & state regulations such as, Electricity Act-2003, National tariff policy, CERC & SERC judgements, state wheeling and banking agreements.

Understanding of Energy yield assessment & Lender's engineer report is a must.

Should have an in depth understanding of power market, financing parameters for wind, solar & transmission funding.

Analysis of State policies in Power sector and Solar rooftop segment.

Financial model review and benchmarking of Key operational and financial parameters of renewable energy projects.

Protecting interest of lenders by advocacy to Regulatory bodies, Media, Banking system etc. Meeting with regulatory authorities like SECI, MNRE, Discoms, Ministry of Power etc.

Developing framework / lending criteria.

Review work of technical consultants like LIE, LIA, WRA, EYA etc.

Strategic analysis, business diligence of Solar and rooftop solar segments.

Analysis of current and future business plan in terms of sustainability of revenue, growth expected in ground mounted and rooftop solar business and analysis of margins across various business segments.

Business diligence and analysis of investment opportunities

Development of a comprehensive financial model for estimation of net present value.

Key upsides and risks analysis in the business.

Grid curtailment risks assessment and potential mitigations

Commercial due diligence of a platform of renewable assets

Participate in discussions with legal, tax, technical and other consultants (external & internal) to firm up view on sector related aspects and assessing typical value drivers

Financial model review and benchmarking of key operational and financial parameters of renewable energy projects in India
