Job Description :

- At this time, we are sourcing candidates for the following work-from-home position open in India, as part of a matrix organization with reporting lines to US-based Tax Department leadership.

Senior Tax Analyst :

Overall Responsibilities:

- Prepare US federal and US state income and franchise tax returns using OneSource Income Tax software

- Reconcile tax payable accounts and NOL schedules on a quarterly basis

- Update and maintain fixed asset tax books in Sage Fixed Asset System

- Perform US federal and US state tax research for US tax return preparation, strategic planning, and compile and analyze data, making recommendations based on findings

- Develop and maintain relationships with accounting team and coordinate the gathering of financial data

- Assist Tax Dept. management with US federal and US state tax audits and notices by preparing and summarizing information requested, researching and preparing responses, evaluating potential refund opportunities

- Participate in annual and quarterly tax provision process and provide inputs into FIN48 calculations

- Other duties and projects as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements:

- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required, Master's Degree a plus

- CPA or CA candidate preferred, but not required

- Strong US federal and US state income tax compliance skills. Proficient user of OneSource Income Tax required.

- Minimum of four years of US corporate income tax experience to include at least three complete compliance seasons in a large international accounting firm or within the corporate tax department of a US-based multinational company or non-US headquartered company with significant US income tax filing requirements.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to convey information clearly and effectively

- Superior Excel skills

- Must possess excellent organizational and follow-up skills and have the ability to organize and maintain tax data and workpapers that allow for future reference and reproduction of the information as needed.

- Positive attitude towards teamwork with the ability to also work independently, decisively and efficiently

- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment focused on improved use of technology in the tax function and continuous process improvement

- Strong interest in professional growth of tax technical skills and depth of tax knowledge and subject matter expertise

- Work hours will generally need to overlap with the US Eastern time zone business hours

- Must be willing to work a manageable amount of overtime consistent with business flows and/or surge periods
