Sr. Talent Acquisition Specialist

- The Sr. Talent Acquisition Specialist has a critical role in creating a compelling first impression of Client, to attract and hire the best people who will enable our customers to Work Like Tomorrow today.

- This team member works closely with the Manager, Talent Acquisition to assist with day-to-day operations of recruitment and job fulfillment. The Sr. Talent Acquisition Specialist is an in-house corporate recruiter role, responsible for the sourcing pipeline for all functions assigned, content management of recruiting websites, creating and implementing recruiting strategies that impact various departments focusing primarily on IT Tech, Software Engineering, Technical Support, Quality Assurance, and Configuration Management talent into our Product Development organization.

- This is a highly strategic recruitment role within our talent acquisition team, bridging the gap between all hiring teams to ensure the very best partnerships are in place. The recruiter will have both candidate and manager interaction and will carry a wide range of responsibilities to attract the best candidates to be part of the Client team.

- Develop innovative ways to lower recruiting costs and measure reduce the time to fill open positions. Ensure valid selection of candidates occurs in all functions. Assist with varied administration functions.

- Source, manage and transition a pipeline of top quality, passive professionals from the external labor market into client career vacancies within the organization function, competency area, and region.

- This team member will be expected to convert prospects that are not actively considering a career move into candidates for specific client openings.

- Becoming a true labor market expert in your assigned functional area, with insight on who and where the best talent is, what the labor market trends are, and how client should position themselves to best attract talent in that space.

- Skillfully network to obtain referrals and access to actionable competitive intelligence.

- Strategically and creatively source IT Tech, Software Engineering, Technical Support, Quality Assurance, and Configuration Management for domestic and global roles.

- Attend technical professional and university job fairs to identify talent for IT Tech, Software Engineering, Technical Support, Quality Assurance, and Configuration Management openings.

- Build relationships with local universities and remain highly involved in events for students and alumni associated with majors related to job openings.

- Use various tools, including LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean Searches, etc. to find candidates.

- Interview candidates at various stages of the process.

- Successfully negotiate candidate pay rate to successfully close a high percentage of candidates.

- Interface with hiring managers and company leadership at various stages of the recruiting process through execution of the hire and providing updates.

- Work with Talent Acquisition team to create compelling job descriptions.

- Manage recruitment content on social networking sites.

- While the job description describes what is anticipated as the requirements of the position, the job requirements are subject to change based upon any changing needs and requirements of the business.

Required Experience:

The ideal candidate for this role will have

- A proven track record of engaging and recruiting exceptional talent into competitive, highly skilled professional roles.

- Strong recruiting fundamentals with an understanding of the full life cycle recruiting process.

- 5-8+ years of experience in IT Tech, Software Engineering, Technical Support, Quality Assurance, and Configuration Management.

- Demonstrated sourcing/networking, lead generation and candidate conversion skills.

- LinkedIn Certifications. If not certified, certification education may be available to the candidate. Other sourcing certification a plus.

- Experience sourcing for globally based positions (EMEA and APAC) optional.

- Significant experience in negotiating, selling and closing candidates.

- A strong business acumen, with a firm understanding of the internet market space.

- A proven track record of success in a fast-paced, high-growth organization.

- Experience working with various recruiting applications, including Silk Road ATS and LinkedIn Recruiter preferred.

- The ability to build relationships with members at all levels of the organization.

- Strong skills in Microsoft applications including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

- Strong written and oral communication skills.

- Understanding EEOC and Pay Equity guidelines.

- Working with Agency Contracts and negotiations.
