Finance activities:

- Preparation and coordination of the annual Budget / quarterly Forecasting process, Reporting & Cost recovery process

- Responsible for preparation of a fit for purpose SERVCO tariff ensuring minimal exposure on Servco recovery position.

- Manage Servco KPIs as per the SEPIL dashboard e.g. AR/Unbilled/Cost recovery/Bottom line impact;

- Review SEPIL Tender board proposals

- Management of statutory audits, At cost certifications for cost recovery projects

- Embed changes to the service provider framework and MI e.g. budgetary and cost control, cost management.

- Ensure timely and correct reporting of legal entity financial results/statutory accounts, including unusual or material accounting items.

- Provide accounting support as required, such as Controllers Functional Support to GIPs and PCNs, or in support of portfolio activity.

- Act as an interface with external auditors and Local Statutory Reporting teams and ensure timely resolution of escalated audit queries.

- Ensure integrity of accounts and provide financial oversight and guidance. Establish and monitor policy/procedures in line with Group Account policies and other relevant accounting standards.

- Protect assets though safeguard asset accounting (Capital Accounting and Reporting)

- Work in close cooperation with IGB, FiB, Tax, Legal and the Global cost recovery team. Make sure that services are provided at cost and work with external auditors, LSR & R&A teams to provide at cost certificates when required.

- Communicate with stakeholders including the legal entity directors on matters such as Financial Management Information on the Legal Entities. Provide clear analyses of results and advise on corrective actions.

- Ensure compliance with Local Direct and Indirect tax and work with the appropriate GRA teams to ensure fit for purpose risk-based financial controls based on the control framework exists and is operating effectively for the Legal Entity.

- Ensure OU insurance coverage and adherence to a group policy on insurance, in collaboration with Risk & Insurance. Monitor cash flow requirements for the Legal Entities and optimize with Treasury the funding of the legal entities.
