Senior Specialist - Advanced Analytics - R Studio + SQL

Advanced Analytics - Sr Specialist (more than 7 yrs exp mandatory for the role- max upto 10 yrs)

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

- Providing analytic consulting and primary research expertise to case teams, consultant support departments and clients worldwide. The Advanced Analytics Senior Specialist will work with case teams to assess data needs, support automation tasks, design primary research projects, and propose analytical solutions to provide practical, value-added answers to the client and case teams.

- Must have experience with statistical tools like R and SAS (base SAS / SAS Stats / SAS Macro)

- Perform data wrangling and data automation tasks using tools such as Alteryx, VBA and SQL.

- Create dashboards and reporting solutions

- Advise, explain and perform a variety of statistical techniques e.g. hypothesis testing, analysis of variance (ANOVA), multiple regression, decision trees, factor analysis and cluster analysis.

- Provide training, documentation and other assistance to consulting and support staff to guide and expand the use of analytical tools.

- Keep abreast of new and current advanced analytics tools and techniques.

Qualifications

- A Master's Degree in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering or Market Research.

Previous work experience in a related field a plus.

- Good data wrangling and blending skills. Knowledge of relational databases and SQL, preferably with MS SQL Server. Knowledge of VBA (Excel, PowerPoint) and/or Alteryx is a plus.

- Experience with dashboard and reporting tools from Tableau, Qlik, MicroStrategy or comparable software packages.

- Knowledge of a variety of statistical methodologies including: hypothesis testing (e.g., t-test, Chisquared test), Analysis of variance (ANOVA), multiple regression, decision trees, factor analysis and cluster analysis.

- Strong analytical, statistical, interpersonal and communication skills.

- The ideal candidate may also have other complimentary skill sets including: experience with Big Data tools (e.g., Hadoop, Spark), knowledge of Machine Learning and/or experience with designing and executing surveys.
