Job Description - Responsible for one of the multiple senior sales positions (Handling Pan India or Regional business) of our client's shrimp feed business by developing and maintaining long-term strategic relationships with our client's aqua-feed key customers and engaging in tri-partied relationships with Distributors, Farmers and Processors in Nellore/ Bhubaneshwar/ Vijayawada location of India.

Our client is a diversified agribusiness company dedicated to improving the productivity of Indian farmers by innovating products and services that substantially increase crop and livestock yields. Our client offers a wide range of specially designed Aqua Feed products to meet the nutritional requirements of fish and shrimps reared in Indian farming conditions.

Description

- Develop an intimate understanding of the Aqua-feed business by developing and maintaining long-term strategic

relationships with our client's key customers and engaging in tri-partied relationships with Distributors, Farmers and Processors

- Develop innovative solutions for customers that not only support their current product portfolio but lead the business in improving those products and developing new ones.

- Contributing to the formulation and implementation of a sales strategy to maximize short and long-term revenue opportunities, and reduce cost of sale.

- Provide inputs on new product launches and pricing strategy specific to the channel.

- Manpower Management - Managing a huge Sales Team and reviewing the performance of this team across regions.

- The positions could be based out of Vijayawada/ Nellore/ Bhubaneswar in India

Profile

- Experience of 6 - 15 years in sales, preferably within the field of aquaculture

- Should be a BSc. or MSc. or MBA in Agricultural Science, Veterinary Science or Nutrition from a premium institute

- Experience of minimum 3 years of people management/team handling role is mandatory to apply for any of the vacancies

- Fluency in Telugu/ Oriya apart from English

- Strong commercial acumen, communication and assertive personality to drive and grow business
