We are looking for a Sr. Sales Manager/Sales Manager for a USA based Multinational Company i.e. Hughes Communications, a person who has experience in Telecom Sales/IT Sales as well as Business Development .

HCIL is the largest satellite service operator in India providing a comprehensive range of broadband networking technologies, solutions, and services for businesses and governments, including Managed Services to meet every communications challenge.
Location: - Sub Saharan Africa
Travel: 60% within the region to assigned countries within Middle East & Africa.
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain market awareness in region w.r.t. VSAT market and potential opportunities
- Identify and qualify new prospects. Create strategy for winning accounts and work with HQ team to bring resources necessary to bring opportunities to close
- Engage in business development activities to convince prospects about the benefits of VSAT technology and to help them become operators of Hughes equipment
- Maintain relationship with existing customers and provide product / feature updates to position for follow-on sales; provide assistance as needed to close technical or support issues
- Provide inputs for the development and execution of a Strategic Sales plan for the countries responsible including addressing new market segments and identification of applications that can drive satellite services and hardware growth.
- Participate in regional trade shows and seminars to promote Hughes products and services; recommend marketing activities that will strengthen and increase Hughes brand in the region
- Track competitive landscape and provide feedback to HQ especially related to lost opportunities
- Maintain an up to date Sales force database and provide weekly reports for the responsible countries.
- Comply with HNS policies and procedures related to quality, export compliance, and ethical business practices
