Desired Skills and Experience:
- Candidates must have 7+ years in IT sales. (Preferable from IT Product selling).
- Must be a self-starter, comfortable working in a loosely structured but dynamic environment
- In-depth understanding of the entire sales cycle in software sales
- Must be able to demonstrate sales record (over 3 years) at a high level of achievement in the region Good knowledge of retail and manufacturing industry in region
- Good knowledge of functional requirements from clients
- Analytical skill set, strong presentation skills, ability to interact with any level within an organization
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- A - business-benefits- and - concept-selling- mindset for capex / small capex business.
- Preferably from Engineering background/ CA background
Job Responsibilities:
- Mentor sales resources to ensure motivation at work and excellent performance
- Coordinate with Sales/ Account Management/ Support team to ensure client satisfaction
- Engage in business development activities (cold meetings)
- Provide account managers with support to manage local accounts
- Create new partners in the territory
- Maintain exact picture of pipeline in CRM application. Share current and inactive prospect contact information with marketing.
- Prepare accurate and honest proposals, agreements and other documents as necessary.
- During pre-sales try and explain to customer that it is as-is solution. Document any gaps.
- Provide process workaround for gaps or escalate to regional manager and product team,
- Follow-up with customer for all payments and reconcile dues regularly with accounts team.
- Follow-up with customers to move pipeline ahead
- Make cold calls to generate new leads. Share information with marketing team.
