The Senior Sales Manager is responsible for generating new business revenue within a city/ cluster. The SSM generates revenue through proactive lead generation and reactive selling as well as coaching and managing a team of ASMs. The Senior Sales Manager must meet or exceed the sales targets/metrics, such as revenue targets, deal volumes, conversion ratios and calls/visits.
Key Position Requirements:
- Proven success as Area Sales Manager or General Manager / in selling service solutions through direct sales within a business-to-business sales environment.
- Leadership skills with a direct sales force in a business-to-business sales environment.
- Experienced at developing, coaching and managing a high-performing sales team in a competitive and result driven environment.
- Experienced at presenting to groups of prospects.
- Professional and clear communication skills coupled with the ability to network at high level and build strong business relationships.
- Proven objection handling, prospecting and negotiation skills.
- 5 - 15 years of work experience, in a similar Industry.
- Intermediate level of MS office; Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- College degree preferred
