Position Summary:
- Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, this senior strategic role will be accountable for developing and managing critical business relationships with Customers. The strategic role will ensure a 360-degree service-experience to our customers, including engagement, enablement, conflict management/resolution and dealing with customer escalations.
- This role will collaborate directly with the Consulting, Services and Support organizations, and cross-functionally with the Commercial and Marketing teams to ensure consistent messaging, and operational success.
- The role will also require communication to Senior Leadership Team, as well as other key and executive-level stakeholders within the Organization. He/She must be comfortable navigating large, complex, and political partner organizations.

As a Senior Sales Executive focused on the Life Sciences market, you will interact with senior management and have the opportunity to significantly contribute to the growth of our business!
- You will be responsible for selling company's software, services, and training within your assigned accounts/territory and to targeted top-ranked companies. Sales will be generated through personal contact, prospecting, business case justification, demonstrations, phone calls and written proposals. A complete sales cycle of activities from lead identification through contract negotiation, account transition to services, ongoing support and follow on sales will be performed.
- This person will exhibit strong business development skills and knowledge of software implementations and timelines and how to define success.
- This individual will have the skills needed to manage customer relationships.
- This will include gaining executive alignment, and then executing for success on the planned business outcomes. In the face of obstacles, this individual will know how to manage/escalate issues and then drive for a successful resolution. This person will have a strong business acumen, with an ability to focus on the details, when needed, while never losing site of the big picture. In the end, a company implementations lead to a world with increased safety, quality and efficacy. This is a key role on the team and will require an elite talent demonstrating the below requirements.
- 5+ years in an Enterprise software sales role
- Track record of achieving quotas
- Managing and submit sales forecast
- Sensitivity to global cultural business dynamics
Skills Required for Success
- Minimum of 15 years selling complex enterprise software solutions (Quality, ERP, MES) to large corporations, with experience selling to life science and/or consumer products companies and C-level executives.
- Demonstrated ability to establish customer relationships specializing in technology implementations, and digital transformations
- Demonstrated ability to work in a high growth technology company
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written to communicate effectively at all levels of an Organization- Executive, Technical, Staff level
- Comfortable creating and making presentations
- Prior experience working with large, multi-dimensional, complex global partners
- Strong collaboration skills, yet equally comfortable working independently; strong relationship management and negotiation skills
- Motivated, self-disciplined, and with a strong results orientation
- Ability to work with a sense of urgency in a competitive, fast-paced, ever-changing environment

- Additional Skills that will ensure Success
- Managing enterprise scale clients in the life sciences industry required
- Quality Management Systems (QMS) experience preferred but not required
- Prior experience in the SaaS, lifescience, quality environment is an additional bonus
- Demonstrated ability to develop and expand existing client relationships
- Prior experience with Salesforce.com is a bonus
- Technical Bachelor degree plus advanced degree preferred
- Ability to travel as required
