Sales Transaction Management  - The Sales Transaction Management is responsible for leading a team and being a principal practitioner within the offshore centre.  - Initially, limited client interaction is anticipated although the scope of the role is expected to develop and change over time according to business needs, maturity of technology solutions, and expansion of the offshore capability.   - The individual will be expected to work closely with internal sales people in onshore locations and will have escalation points within Client and Transaction Management Services (CTMS) which sits within the umbrella of Corporate Treasury Solutions (CTS), a key pillar of GMCS. Engagement with CTMS will be needed for any issues or client contact requirements and acts as a bridge between the onshore and offshore teams.   - The team lead will be responsible for escalating issues raised from either onshore or offshore teams directly to the appropriate contact in CTMS.   - Build an enthusiastic and motivated team that demonstrate Group values and principles  - Plan staffing resources effectively to provide support across different time zones and countries  - Provide leadership, support, guidance and training to all team members  - Conduct regular performance management appraisals with all team members  - Streamline processes and identify efficiencies that can be created in the offshore capability  - Be the single point of contact for onshore sales teams to escalate any transactional support issues  - Review work of analysts and establish standardised communications and outputs in conjunction with the onshore sales teams  - Be involved in strategic discussions with the senior management teams within the offshore centre   - Be accountable for quality of output of the team and delivery of the offshore sales transactional support capability  - Identify further opportunities for the offshore capability to support onshore sales teams   - Manage changes to processes as technology platforms evolve  Delivery Responsibilities :  - The role entails building partnerships and collaborating with onshore sales teams in order to operate in a control framework whereby key decisions are made by the appropriate onshore sales team member.   - The purpose of the sales transaction management team is to support the onshore sales teams with front office activities that relate to transactions executed with clients. The responsibilities of the role will evolve with the expansion of the offshore capability and roll out of technology platforms.   Initial ways in which the offshore team can support sales teams with administrative duties include :  Money Market Rollovers : On a daily basis, rollover any funds remaining un-drawn on money market trades. Manage any exceptions or issues that may also result.  Time Options : Clients are offered an option on fixed/forward contracts to take delivery in a window ("window option"). As a result, a daily report on FX Cash dealing is run to identify options not fully drawn down. Highlight to the sales team any options not drawn down and identify & execute any draw-downs needed.  FX Option Expiration & Maintenance of CRM Tool : Run daily processes to provide visibility to sales team of options due to expire per client and upload term sheets into relevant database. Identify and categorize expiring options in terms of likelihood of exercise (e.g. in the money or automatically exercised options) and recommend specific actions to sales team members.   Settlement Coordination : Coordinate with GTRF and GLCM to ensure required documents are in place before the trade is settled for restricted currency market trades. Further, liaise with GTRF and GLCM to provide sales team visibility into the number of unsettled hedges on any given day.   Resolution of payment errors : Resolve issues where the wrong client account has been debited or credited by communicating with relationship managers in the Global or Commercial Banking division and subsequently updating back office.  Confirmation tracking : Create confirmation tracker and provide sales team a daily update of pending trade confirmations from clients.   - Overall 8 to 12 years experience in financial services  - Individuals with previous experience in either an operations, finance or risk management role preferred  - Understanding of Global Markets products, specifically FX spot, FX forwards, FX options, money market products, and interest rate swaps  - Experience managing a team with clear competencies in people & development, performance management, and high quality execution  - Experience in international stakeholder engagement  - Proven experience in workflow monitoring (e.g. tracking & communication of issues)  - Strong interpersonal skills, coupled with the ability to succeed within a matrix management structure and build and maintain global team relationships   - Manage deadlines, escalate issues promptly, and prioritize workload  - Bachelor's degree held in a numerical subject  - Advanced level of MS Excel and PowerPoint skills   - Excellent spoken and written English skills
